Being a volunteer at Tipi Algarve

When I left Hungary to "WWOOF" in Portugal I didn`t really have any expectations about the place I was designated to work at. But a friendly atmosphere welcomed me when I arrived after an adventurous trip from Faro to the river that isolates Tipi Algarve from the outside world. The owner, Calvin is an excellent chef, however since the other WWOOFers turned out to be talented cooks as well, he rather let them the kitchen and he manages the new yoga temple, the project to be finished at the moment. 

The guests who are turning up at the gates of Tipi are people who are not just coming to relax, but they are interested in Permaculture and organic farming themselves as well. Since we are having lunch together with them the discussions usually turn back to organic food and cooking at the table. Everybody loves their stomach! And here it can be filled with the most excellent vegetarian food since most of the ingredients come directly from the garden.
